The JANSEN name remains forever linked to French know-how in interior design and architecture. For a century, Maison Jansen has embodied French elegance in furniture around the world. It is this singular history that I propose to relive today, with an emphasis on the “crazy” years (1920-1970) that made the reputation of this prestigious interior design firm among the most influential of the 20th century. It is also an opportunity to rediscover the work of French decorator Stéphane BOUDIN, to whom Maison Jansen owes much.

Il nome JANSEN rimane per sempre legato al know-how francese in materia di design e architettura d’interni. Da un secolo, la Maison Jansen incarna l’eleganza francese nell’arredamento di tutto il mondo. È questa storia singolare che mi propongo di rivivere oggi, ponendo l’accento sugli anni “folli” (1920-1970) che hanno fatto la fama di questa prestigiosa azienda di interior design, tra le più influenti del XX secolo. È anche un’occasione per riscoprire il lavoro del decoratore francese Stéphane BOUDIN, a cui la Maison Jansen deve molto.
