Scultura in ceramica raffigurante San Nicola con i 62 marinai artefici della leggendaria spedizione coinvolta nella trafugazione delle ossa sacre del Santo trasportandole fino a Bari ove oggi sono custodite all’interno della Cattedrale. La città pugliese resta oggi metà di pellegrinaggio da tutto il mondo per venerare questo santo unificatore protagonista di moltissime leggende. Il poliedrico artista Nicola Amato vive e produce le sue opere nel cuore antico delle città di Bari.

Ceramic sculpture depicting St. Nicholas with the 62 sailors who were the architects of the legendary expedition involved in the theft of the saint’s sacred bones by transporting them to Bari where they are now kept inside the cathedral. The Apulian city remains today halfway through pilgrimages from all over the world to venerate this unifying saint who is the protagonist of many legends.
