Italian neoclassical frame in gold leaf, Piemontese school – XIX

Elegante cornice antica, di manifattura piemontese, risalente al XIX secolo.
Il manufatto è realizzato in legno e presenta una sfarzosa doratura originale a foglia oro zecchino, applicata con la prestigiosa tecnica a guazzo su bolo rosso, visibile in alcuni punti di usura che ne testimoniano l’autenticità.
La modanatura è impreziosita da una ricca e continua decorazione intagliata in rilievo con motivo a foglie lanceolate stilizzate, tipico delle produzioni neoclassiche e romantiche. Il design sobrio ma raffinato ne permette l’abbinamento ideale con specchi, stampe o dipinti antichi di pregio, conferendo un tocco di eleganza storica a qualsiasi ambiente.
Può diventare anche una elegante specchiera.

The piece is made of wood and features sumptuous original gilding with pure gold leaf, applied using the prestigious gouache technique on red bole, visible in some areas of wear that attest to its authenticity.
The moulding is embellished with a rich and continuous relief carving decoration with a stylised lanceolate leaf motif, typical of neoclassical and romantic productions. The sober but refined design makes it ideal for pairing with mirrors, prints or valuable antique paintings, adding a touch of historical elegance to any room.
